1st stage: Rila Mountain
Rila Mountain lies in the very heart of the Balkan Peninsula. The mountain boasts the highest peak on the Balkan peninsula - Moussala (2925m)

Day 1

Arriving at the airport in the capital city of Sofia. From there we make a 70 km long transfer by bus to the Rila Mountain - the winter & ski resort Borovetz (1300m). Accomodation and acclimatization.

Day 2
Duration 7-9h.

Ascending the peak Yastrbetz (2300m) by a cabin lift. From there we start to climb the highest peak - Moussala (2925m). We continue to the Granichar hut (2100m) trough the panoramic Mount chain.

Day 3
Duration 7-8h.

We head SW at the ridge to the circus of Ribni Ezera lakes through the panoramic peak Josifitza (2697m). A descend to the hut Ribni Ezera (2100m).

Day 4
Duration 9-10h.

We head southwards to peak Vodni (2683m) descending to Kobilino branishte (2100m), continue with ascending to peak Popova Kapa (2610m). After this the path is going down to the refugee Strashnoto ezero (2350m). Passing through a circus lakes the way continues descending to the valey of Malyovitza river, where we stop for staying overnight in the Maliovitza hut (2095m).

Day5
Duration 6h.

We start climbing to the peak of Maliovitza (2729m) passing lake Elenino Ezero and peak Elenin Vrah (2680m). The path continues through the mount ridge by light descending and ascendning to the Peak Ivan Vazov (2670m). From there we turn to north-east at the Green Ridge. Stepping down through the beautiful circus of the Seven Lakes to the hut of Seven Lakes (2100m).

Day 6
Duration 7-8h.

We walk out by the surrounding paths around the beatiful Seven Lakes and we find ourselves out at the top of the Seven Lakes circus. From there we start an 4 hour descending to the beautiful valley of Rila Monastery (1100m). There we accommodate and make an easy tour to the sights of interest. At the end of the day we have a traditional dinner.

II-nd Stage: Pirin Mountain

Day 7

Transfer to the old historical town of Bansko (910m), situated on the north side of the Pirin Mountain, which is declared a National Park. Its nordic-type alpine steep slopes and white limestone peaks make a deep impression. After accommodation in a traditional house, we make a cultural tour and sightseeing. Spa-session and national meals.

Day 8
Duration 9h.

We start from Bansko by bus to Yavorov hut (1700m). From here we enter the Baiuvi Doupki biosphere reserve. At the ridge (2100m) we continue to the east through the panoramic mount chain by passing the narrow ridge Koncheto, and after 5-hour hike we reach the Pirin's highest peak Vihren (2914m).
From here we step down to the beautiful valley of Banderitza river passing through the century-old coniferous forests. We arrive in Vihren hut (2195m).

Day 9
Duration 6-7h

We continue by hiking through the beautiful Banderishki circus, passing many tiny lakes and ascending to the Todorini Porti pass next to the Peak Todorka (2750m). From here we step down trough the Vassilashki circus to the Damianitza hut (2050m).

Day 10
Duration 9h

We start to climb the rock formation Strazhite. Through their eastern ridge we reach peak Polezhan (2845m) and after 40 min the panoramic peak Bezbog(2645m). From there we step down to the hut bearing the same name (2200m). We continue by chair lift to the Gotze Delchev hut (1500m). From here by bus we go to Dobrinishte (15km) and Bansko (5km). In Bansko we have a final traditional dinner and take a rest. Staying overnight in a good hotel with authentic atmosphere.

Day 11

We finish our trip with a transfer to the Sofia city, where we accommodate and make a cultural tour around the national museums, churches and other sights of interest. Traditional meals and taking a rest at a nice place.

Price includes: ground transfers, accommodation, full board (lunch often will be picnic), guide (2 guides if the group is bigger than 10), optical equipment for birdwatching.
